BEAST‘s Yang Yoseob considers an ‘ending stage’ his next goal.
Yang Yoseob revealed the greed he feels during the BEAST portion of the May 6th broadcast of MBC‘s ‘K-POP Stars Captivate the World.’
“There doesn’t seem to be anything BEAST doesn’t want to do. There’s standing on the ending stage. TVXQ sunbaenim, Big Bang sunbaenim, Super Junior sunbaenim, 2PM sunbaenim are away. We also now want to stand on the ending stage.”
The ending stages for each performance are normally given to those singers who have a lot of popularity and hold a lot of weight in the singing world. BEAST has now also gained quite a bit of popularity, but what Yoseob means is that he wishes to advance into the rankings of those sunbae idol groups whose prestige allows them to be responsible for ending stages.
In 2009, ever since BEAST made their somewhat later debut from other top-notch idol groups, their fan base has been quite frightening so that BEAST has been called a top-notch idol group that ranks in line with their sunbae idols. Last year, at the KBS awards, they received the Song of the Year award for ‘Fiction,’ and this year, they are in the middle of their world tour.
It’s only a matter of time until Yoseob’s goal gets met.
