SHINee member Jonghyun reveals his true height.
The second part of the SHINee special was aired on the May 9th broadcast of MBC Every1 ‘Weekly Idol.’
When it came time to verify their profiles, things started off strong as they talked about Jonghyun’s height. Although it can be fatal if the personal information on an idol’s profile is not easily handled, since there has been much to say about Jonghyun’s height, it was the first topic to be brought out.
Jonghyun, whose profile states that he is 173 cm tall, remarked, “Actually I’ve heard a lot from fans that my height is 170 cm. However that is definitely not true. It is 173 cm for sure.” After issuing a playful warning to his fans, Jonghyun then reassured them of his height by standing alongside the truly 173 cm tall MC Jung Hyung Don and trying to enthusiastically verify his claim.
In the meantime, Jonghyun’s unveiling of his actual height will air on ‘Weekly Idol’ at 6:00 PM on May 9th.
