Looks like Jang Geun Suk’s popularity just keeps on rising. The Hallyu star has just been asked to sing the theme song for a Japanese Anime.
Jang Geun Suk’s song ‘200 Miles‘ will be used as the theme song for the Japanese anime, ‘Fairy Tail – Shaman of the Phoenix‘ which is set to premiere on August 18th.
‘Fairy Tail – Shaman of the Phoenix’ was a very popular Japanese manga and has been since 2006. It is expected to garner a lot of viewers on its premiere.
Jang Geun Suk said,
“This is the first time one of my songs will be a theme song for an anime. I hope that a lot of people will enjoy both the anime and my music.”
Jang Geun Suk’s popularity seems to know no end in Japan. Congrats to him for being given such an opportunity.
