Although most fans have probably figured it out, Girls’ Generation‘s unit group TaeTiSeo has publicly revealed the true reasoning for their team name.
TaeTiSeo appeared on the May 10th broadcast of KBS2‘s ‘Happy Together 3,’ where they were asked by the MCs, “There are lots of various names like TiTaeSeo or SeoTaeTi, why should it be TaeTiSeo?” The response was, “Every week we proceed with music broadcasts, and the order in which we stand is Taeyeon, Tiffany, Seohyun. TaeTiSeo is also in order by age.”
When asked, “Then Taeyeon is the oldest?,” Taeyeon shyly said, “I was born in March so I come first,” bringing out a loud bout of laughter from the studio.
In the meantime, this episode featured appearances from Jessica, Taeyeon, Tiffany, Shin Bora, Park Ji Seon, and Jung Juri, who all showed off their talking abilities with ease.
