Recently, various Internet community sites have posted photos of the exteriors of 9 of Korea’s entertainment agencies’ buildings, including Korea’s big three, SM, YG and JYP.
In the photos, from left to right, we see SM Entertainment, Cube Entertainment, DSP Media, YG Entertainment, LOEN Entertainment, Starship Entertainment, JYP Entertainment, Core Entertainment and Dream T. Netizens are amused by the range in architecture of these agencies, some looking like regular offices while others resemble everyday houses.
The general consensus is that SM Entertainment’s building looks like the typical neat and tidy office building; YG looks like a ‘venture business’; JYP looks like a movie theater; and Cube Entertainment looks like a ‘cafe.’ Additionally, girl group SISTAR works at a ‘villa’-esque Starship Entertainment; Dream T, home to Girl’s Day, can be compared to an ordinary townhouse; LOEN looks more like a bank; Core Content Media looks like a ‘cram school’; and DSP Media is like a ‘detached house’.
Netizens left comments about the ‘idols’ office buildings,’ “YG’s office looks really cool.”, “Wow you can tell which agencies are making money.” and “SM really looks like an office building.”
What your thoughts on your favorite idols’ workplaces?
