JYP Entertainment has released an official statement revealing that 2PM‘s Jun. K‘s father has passed away at the age of 59, due to a sudden heart attack.
Reports say that on January 19, Junsu received a sudden phone call and had immediately rushed to the hospital in Daegu, but had unfortunately arrived too late to spend the final moments with his dad.
The celebrity has been seen crying throughout the day at the funeral home, with his friends and colleagues from JYPE, been very supportive and staying by his side.
The funeral ceremony is scheduled to be held on the 21st with the location still currently undecided.
