2PM’s Junsu, whose father recently passed away, has opened up about his feelings via Twitter.
On the 21st, Junsu wrote on his Twitter, “Today we held a funeral for my father at a temple on Pal Gong Mountain in Daegu. Please pray sincerely for my father to be resting in a better place. When I think of all the things I was unable to do with my father, my heart hurts. I love you. I’m sorry.”
Junsu continued, “To everyone who sent condolences, everyone who sent wreaths, and to the people who stayed until the end to make my father’s road less lonely, thank you.”
He also added, “Please forgive me for not being there with you when you passed. I wanted you to wait a bit so I could help make a better life for you. I even made a promise that I would make that wish come true in March… Father, I’m so sorry.”
On the 19th, Junsu’s father suddenly passed away due to a heart attack. Staff members from Junsu’s agency, JYP Entertainment, as well as other members of 2PM rushed to Daegu to comfort Junsu without concern for the last-minute notice.
Junsu has received support both from the members and his fans. On the 20th, fellow 2PM member Taecyeon tweeted, “Hottests all around the world, pray for Junsu.” Taecyeon later added, “Now it’s finished. We are very thankful to everyone and hope that Junsu and his family will be able to overcome this difficult time.”

So saddening. I can’t imagine someone’s pain of losing a parent can be. Oh gosh, it’s gonna be hard for him to get over this. As always, I wish him to stay strong, and hopefully feel sturdier.
