Six-member hybrid genre boy group LEDApple will be changing their leadership along with their comeback.

Two days ago, LEDApple released the teaser for their comeback single, “Time Is Up,” produced by popular composer Sinsadong Tiger. At that time, member Youngjun stepped up to replace the previous leader.

Previous leader Hanbyul, a student at Australia’s prestigious Queensland University of Dentistry, will hand the leadership baton over to guitarist Youngjun, who has come of an age at which he can become the team leader.

LEDApple commented, “The decision to replace the leader was one that we came to together in an effort to take steps forward with our image. We think that giving the team a new starting point will give us a new feeling.”

Youngjun is one of the two original LEDApple members, who has remained with the band through problems such as member replacement and military service. It is expected that he will spearhead team member encouragement and fill his leadership role well.

Youngjun said, “Taking over as leader will be a challenge, but since LEDApple’s goal this year is to achieve #1 on a music show chart, I’ll do my best to help achieve it.” He also added, “LEDApple members have a variety of talents including lyrics, composition and rap. We’ll do our best to achieve a stage that shows our fans everything we have to offer.”

LEDApple’s new song, “Time Is Up,” is the story of a man’s heart after making a love confession to a woman, but being forced to wait impatiently for an answer.  They will make their comeback on February 2nd on Mnet “Music Countdown” and on February 3rd on KBS “Music Bank.”
