On December 16th, UK’s BBC Newsday published an article, titled “K-pop singer ‘honoured’ at MTV awards“.
Leader and rapper CL got the chance to represent the group in a short interview. After been asked about her thoughts on 2NE1′s success as well as the international spread of the Korean Wave, CL answered that they still had a long way to go and that their success so far is only the beginning.
Newsday’s article title refers to 2NE1′s recent win at the MTV awards for “Best New Band Of The Year“, and since then has further gained international recognition as a leading K-Pop group.
