An estimate of Big Bang‘s daily income has been revealed.
On February 9th, according to an X-file on YG Entertainment celebrities released by Cheong Yu Seok, an analyst at LIG Investment & Securities Co., it turns out that YG Entertainment’s 2012 revenue is expected to be 167 billion won, a 122.7% increase from last year.
In particular, Big Bang is expected to earn a profitable 78 billion won this year with their album release at the end of February and their world tour in March ahead. This amount means that Big Bang makes close to 2oo million won a day.
Big Bang earned 29 billion won last year with only activities for half the year. Their scheduled concert in March is expected to make 4 billion won alone. Additionally, they will earn 38 billion won for concerts in junction with their comeback, 12 billion won for their albums and music recordings, and 5 billion won for commercials.
Analyst Cheong Yu Seok added to his analysis,
“Minor groups lean too much on YG Entertainment’s Big Bang and 2NE1, for they make up about 70% of their sales. This is a risky element. However, if rookie groups consistently break onto the scene, the degree of risk will gradually decrease.”

This irticle is a bit misleading.
Earning 29 billion Won means that this is revenue that Big Bang made. It doesnt mean Big Bang will be able to pocket all this money.
Take away all their expenses and YG Entertainment management fees and taxes and I don’t think they will be left with nearly as much.
But i’m sure it’s heaps more than what non-celebrities make…
