Singer IU is bowing her head in apology for her recent mistake.
On the February 26th broadcast of SBS TV‘s program, ‘Inkigayo‘, during the announcement of the winner of the weekly Mutizen award, IU made a small blunder. Instead of calling out FT Island for their win with ‘Severely,’ she mistakenly said Se7en‘s name.
Despite making such a small mistake of calling out the wrong name, IU once again issued an apology in regards to the broadcast on her personal me2day. After the broadcast, IU posted on her me2day,
“Inkigayo viewers, FT Island sunbaenim, Se7en sunbaenim, sorry!! In the future, I definitely won’t let my nerves get to me, and I’ll recover my sensesㅜㅜ Sorry sorry ㅜㅜ”
In response to the event, FT Island’s Lee Hongki mentioned on his own Twitter,
“Inkigayo 1st place!!! Thank you!!! Primadon~~I love you, really^^ Also don’t say anything about IU-sshi’s mistake, silly fools, I also make lots of mistakes^^ You silly fools are good people right??”
Se7en also posted to his Twitter a selca and the following message,
“On today’s Inkigayo, I am very thankful to Bom-yang for our wonderful stage together and also totally thankful to Darong and Mingkki who cheered for us, and congratulations to FT Island for winning the Mutizen award, and it’d be lovely if you cut IU-yang some slack for her mistake^^ Congratulations to miss A for making their comeback, and all my seniors and juniors’ stages were all wonderful, I’m happy for everyone^^”
His tweet warmly wrapped up the happenings of the day’s broadcast, including his happiness for his special collaboration stage of ‘When I Can’t Sing‘ with fellow YG Entertainment labelmate 2NE1‘s Park Bom and for the support they received from Dara and Minzy.
