Singer IU will be making a guest appearance at group Wanted‘s concert.

On March 8th, Wanted’s agency, WS Entertainment, released their decision to invite IU as a special guest for the April 1st ‘Back to Vintage‘ concert that will be held at AX-Korea in Seoul in commemoration of Wanted’s third album.

IU’s participation in Wanted’s concert can be traced to the fact that Wanted member Ha Dong Kyun used to be IU’s vocal teacher during her trainee days.

The meaning behind the nation’s little sister IU participating in Wanted’s concert also includes the fact that she is featured in one of the songs off of Wanted’s third album called ‘Like You.’ She can also be heard in the chorus of ‘Can’t Bear the Sight of It,’ which was recorded when IU was still in middle school.

With the sale of her Japanese single on March 21st coming up, IU is busy going in between Korea and Japan, but for the prepared Wanted, who haven’t been in concert for quite some time, she willingly accepted the invitation and fit it in her schedule.

On this time’s stage, IU plans to perform ‘Like You’ from their third album ‘Vintage‘ with Wanted for the first time.

In the meantime, after their ‘7DAYZ & WANTED‘ concert back in December 2007, Wanted has not hit the stage for almost 4 years. The concert this time is commemorating the sale of their third album. It will be held for two days on March 31st and April 1st.
