After a two-year hiatus, Big Bang‘s Seungri and Daesung will be taking up their microphones once again as co-MCs for a music program.
On April 10th, Big Bang’s agency YG Entertainment revealed that Big Bang members Daesung and Seungri will be joining IU on the April 15th broadcast of SBS‘s ‘Inkigayo‘ and filling in as MCs for the day in place of KARA‘s Nicole and Goo Hara, who will be going to Japan for a concert.
Since their one-year stint in 2008 on MBC‘s ‘Show! Music Core,’ Daesung and Seungri have become known for being full of wit and have achieved recognition for their expert MCing abilities. It has thus been two years since their day-to-day job as MCs, and they are now resuming the role together.
Despite their busy schedules with their overseas promotions, it is rumored that Seungri and Daesung showed their passionate sides and were already actively involved in contributing their ideas on how to lead the program.
Meanwhile, the two members, along with their group Big Bang, won the ‘Inkigayo’ Mutizen award three times in a row for their song ‘Blue‘ and are recently promoting ‘Bad Boy‘ and ‘Fantastic Baby.’
In particular, Big Bang is keeping music fans on the edge of their seats, as their fans are always wondering what kind of style of clothing and energetic stage performances will Big Bang bring them each week, especially after the shocking ‘pink eyebrows‘ and ‘five-colored training suit’ incidents.
In the meantime, after their debut on April 9th and 10th, Big Bang will be visiting their fans in Taiwan for the first time, and then, as part of their world tour, they will be performing in five cities in Japan in May.
