The biggest girl group in Kpop, Girls Generation will apparently be breaking off into different subunit.
The rumors appear to be true as a representative has come out and stated:
“It is a high possibility that the album may be one showcasing the vocals of the vocally talented members…It is expected that there will be a unit of 3-4 members from Girls’ Generation. There is also a possibility that the plan will change.”
The group would be a three or four member group that will debut in May. However, SM Entertainment did release a statement later saying that nothing has been confirmed as of yet.

What?! I don’t really listen to them but, why all of a sudden? This really wont happen right? I was just talking to my friend about girl groups that haven’t changed nor broken up, they were the only one. The day that news come out will be one sad day. They are all so good together.
I just watched the video for Twinkle and it only has 3 of the members from SNSD in it, along with a bunch of back up dancers. So it’s safe to say that they ARE a sub-unit. How do I feel? Really sad. I love all 9 girls. They make amazing songs and dance routines so perfectly. I’m so glad I began listening to their music. They are the reason why I listen to K-Pop now. Despite the fact that I don’t want them to split up (Sunny is my favorite) I understand that we all grow up and we have to go our own ways. And no matter what happens to SNSD in terms of the music aspect, all of the girls will always be friends. 사랑합니다 SNSD!

when i read an article about girls generation will apparently be breaking off into different subunit i feel very sad because i want to see them together again i hope that they will reunite again and i want them to see performing again on stage together i feel relax when i’m listening to their music video hope they will come back again i feel very sad.,
