It’s that time of year when everyone puts together their new year’s resolution, and celebrities are no different.  For the year 2012, 5 member girl group, 4Minute, wants to focus on developing their own musical style.

There is no denying that the girls’ music is fun and appealing, but the girls now want to attempt something fresh that they can call their own.  Their aim is to create a style that is different from all the other girl groups and perform music that is distinct to them.

In a press conference held on December 26, the group stated, “We performed on a lot of stages overseas this year. Although 4minute’s music seems to appeal to the masses, we think it’s more Pop than K-pop. I think because of that, our music appeals to fans in places like England and Brazil. We want to thank our fans in Japan that came out to see us as well, and we will work harder to show you better performances from here on out.“

We’re looking forward to their comeback album release which is scheduled to be in the first half of 2012.
