MBLAQ’s G.O was recently cast in SBS’s new, upcoming drama ‘Phantom‘. He will be playing the role of a cyber investigator named Lee Tae Kyun. He will be acting alongside actor So Ji Sub and actress Lee Yeon Hee
This is a huge step for MBLAQ’s G.O because it marks his debut as an actor. Unfortunately, G.O has to postpone his sub-unit activities with Mir in order to film for Phantom.
G.O’s label company, J.Tune Camp said,
“We tried to make G.O’s sub-unit activities the first priority, and we even finished recording the title track, however we believed that the drama would be a great opportunity to showcase MBLAQ’s potential and abilities.”
J.Tune Camp also re-assured fans about the sub-unit, saying,
“We know that our fans have been anticipating the sub-unit and we plan to increase its quality and present it to the fans as a gift in the future.”
Congratulations to G.O for making his acting debut! This is a huge stepping stone for him.
