2AM and T-ARA will be helping out leukemia patients.
Broadcasting live on May 5th will be MBC‘s ‘2012 A New Life for the Children,’ on which are scheduled to appear T-ARA who sold pizza in order to raise money for children diagnosed with rare and incurable diseases, as well as 2AM who helped raise awareness for leukemia patients.
As a long-lasting program that has been on air for 21 years, ’2012 A New Life for the Children’ has raised 30 billion won in funds that has been able to support 8500 children suffering from leukemia and other childhood cancers.
Previously, while 2AM made a visit to the KidZania education and entertainment center on April 12th and taught the kids how to be idols, T-ARA conducted a fundraising campaign by selling love’s pizzas at E-MART on April 22nd.
In addition to showing 2AM and T-ARA on this day’s live broadcast to help out the children, popular singers like IU and Shinhwa will also be making an appearance. The various events and fundraising campaigns for raising money for medical expenses are already garnering much attention.
Additionally, this year’s ’2012 A New Life for the Children’ will be specially formatted as a concert of love in collaboration with MBC’s ‘Show! Music Core‘ and will be MCed by Kim Hee Ae and Shinhwa.
In the meantime, 2AM and T-ARA’s fundraising efforts will air on May 5th, from 1:25 PM to 5:15 PM.
