Kim Hyun Joong returns to televsion in the leading role for “City Conquest”.
Hyun Joong will portray dark character Baek Mir, a man struggling with abandonment and growing up an orphan, who falls head over in heels in love easily. He fights against the harsh world that tore his family apart.
This is the first time in two years Kim Hyun Joong will make his official return to a TV drama. His new role will overshadow the flower “soft” boy image from “Playful Kiss” and “Boys Over Flowers“. Baek Mir is weak to love, yet more masculine than Hyun Joong’s previous roles.
“City Conquest” will be based on a comic by Shin Hyung Bin. His popular comic book series began in 1996.
